Our May 2021 Monthly review features news and needs from our community members (Grand Prairie Host Lions Club, Santa Cops, Grand Prairie United Charities, and The Nicklas Foundation), May communications metrics, volunteer activities (at Hope 4 All, Grand Prairie Homeless Outreach Organization, and Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery), and donations made in the month of May (Children First Counseling Center, Grand Prairie United Charities, LifeLine for Families, Old Friends, Great Pyrenees Rescue North America, The Nicklas Foundation, and Finnleigh’s Grace) – all in less than five minutes! We are grateful for everyone who helped us bring hope and opportunity to our communities over the last month.

Today's Awareness Wednesday highlights AppleTree Institue for Educational Innovation! AppleTree’s mission is to close the achievement gap before children get to kindergarten by providing three- and four-year-olds with the social, emotional, and cognitive foundations that enable them to thrive in school. Through a partnership with Uplift Education, they have brought their thoughtful, research-based curriculum to DFW. Hope 4 All was very happy to support AppleTree with a $7,500 grant at the end of 2020 to support printing high-quality printed materials for students learning from home.
