Awareness Wednesday 10/08/2020 - Envision Dallas Interview
Our Quarter 4 Spotlight is on Envision Dallas! Envision Dallas improves the quality of life and provides inspiration and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired through employment, outreach, rehabilitation, education and research. From their website: "Envision is an integrated community of people who are blind, low vision and typically sighted. We find joy and inspiration in our work every day, and firmly believe that people who are blind or visually impaired deserve a voice... We continue to focus on improving the quality of life for those who are blind or visually impaired by launching our Envision Research Institute. Our research focuses on national studies aimed at improving the lives of those who are visually impaired through working toward practical applications. Envision is transforming the employment landscape for people with visual impairments with the BVI Workforce Innovation Center. This national initiative provides an unparalleled focus on training people with vision loss, placing them into jobs and providing accessibility inclusion expertise to businesses. (envisionus.org) During the last quarter of 2020, Hope 4 All is seeking to contribute 75 volunteer hours and $2,020 to Envision Dallas.
