North Texas Giving Day is more than just a fundraising event—it’s a powerful celebration of community spirit and nonprofit innovation. Launched by the Communities Foundation of Texas in 2009, this annual giving day has become the largest regional day of giving in the United States, bringing together thousands of nonprofits and donors to create meaningful change.
This year’s event, scheduled for September 18th, showcases the incredible diversity and passion of local organizations working to address critical community needs. During a recent Awareness Wednesday video and DFW Cyber Lions Club meeting, several local nonprofits shared their unique missions and fundraising goals, demonstrating the transformative power of community support.
